“Take Me Home”

One from the road.
I’m absolutely blown away by the dark skies in the Outer Banks. This was captured on Ocracoke where the only access is by ferry or small private airplane.
This country road leads out to the beach and I met a group of bioluminescence hunters on their way out. Apparently hot humid summer nights are the best to witness the glowing blue organisms. Curious of course, I followed them out but unfortunately didn’t see any. Maybe next time.
Can’t wait to get back to the OBX. 🙂
