On a recent trip to the Outer Banks, I met up with fellow photographer Athena Carey. Her work of clean and serene monochrome long exposures is such an inspiration to me. So while I was with her I had to try to create some B&W long exposures. Check out her stuff at athenacarey.com
I’m not sure that this fits the clean and serene part, but I was really happy with it. The clouds were perfect for a decent long exposure and the still waters came out perfectly at anything greater than 30s. This exposure was 44 seconds and I have a feeling that I will be trying more of these in the future.
I hope you enjoy.
