The weather has certainly got much colder over the last couple of weeks. Usually this doesn’t bother me, but I’m not used to multiple days of sub freezing temperatures at the coast. 🙂 I’ve even had to buy a new pair of gloves. I’m also really concerned about being ready for the Mountains to Sea Winter Workshop in Boone in a couple of weeks. We have a full crowd and I want to make sure that everyone is prepared including me. Bone chilling cold doesn’t benefit anyone.

All of this has me dreaming about Spring and shooting waterfalls with bright new green growth. As you can tell I’m really excited about heading to Western North Carolina for the Mountains To Sea Waterfall Workshop.

Looking Glass Falls is on the list as a potential stopping point. It’s easily accessible and massive creating an amazing location for folks to learn the techniques and enjoy shooting in some of the best spots.
