Sunset on Sullivan’s Island is always spectacular. I had been visiting this spot numerous times and tracking the sunset using The Photographer’s Ephemeris (http://photoephemeris.com/ – You need to use this) waiting until the sunset directly in line with this pier of rocks. These have been setup to prevent erosion. Although it looks like Mother Nature will do as she pleases. Finally on this particular evening the conditions were looking great and I was able to capture a fantastic sunset directly in line with the rocks. I was pretty intrigued with the divide in the sky almost mirroring the divide in the water.
