Dolphin Walk

I headed out to the beach a few days ago in anticipation of a cloudy sunset hoping that the sun might peak through. When I got there a few rays of sun were just making it through the grayness and I kept my hopes up.

Even if there was no chance for a spectacular […]

Small small world

I received a call yesterday from a local boat dealer who was at Troubadours Coffee House enjoying a coffee with his son, when his son said, “Hey Dad, isn’t that your boat?”. Sure enough this image which is on the wall is of him and his boat. He also was part of the shipbuilding […]

One of the fisherman that I met down at the beach working the pools around these rocks on Sullivan’s Island. It was incredibly calm and quiet. A beautiful way to start the day!

Jagged Rays

Over the weekend I went out early one morning to Sullivan’s Island to hang out with the Fisherman. I’ve been here many times and never seen any fisherman. This day the tides were just right and they were out in abundance.

Photographers and fisherman have a lot in common. Both […]

Exposed

A pair of spindly bare trees with roots exposed, resemble driftwood as the sunrise ignites the beach. You couldn’t find a calmer sea. However the calm surface hides a deceptive undercurrent that will pull everything and everyone out to sea.
