Cascading ridges are slowly revealed by the advancing light as the sun creates an orange silhouette of the La Sal mountain range. This was captured from Dead Horse State Park near Moab during our recent trip around that area.

One of the fisherman that I met down at the beach working the pools around these rocks on Sullivan’s Island. It was incredibly calm and quiet. A beautiful way to start the day!

A pair of spindly bare trees with roots exposed, resemble driftwood as the sunrise ignites the beach. You couldn’t find a calmer sea. However the calm surface hides a deceptive undercurrent that will pull everything and everyone out to sea.
Anyone want to hang out at the beach? I’ll save you a seat.
